जल्द ही नवीनीकृत होगी गोरखा मिलिट्री इंटर कॉलेज की लीज – कैबिनेट मंत्री जोशी
देहरादून : शुक्रवार को देहरादून कैंट स्थित गोरखा मिलिट्री इंटर कॉलेज प्रबंधन की ओर से सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी द्वारा विद्यालय की लीज के नवीनीकरण हेतु किए जा रहे प्रयासों के लिए धन्यवाद एवं आभार कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पूर्ण पालन करते हुए विद्यालय प्रबंधन ने आशा व्यक्त की कि गोरखा समाज की कई राष्ट्रीय व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हस्तियां देने वाले इस शिक्षण संस्थान की लीज जल्द ही नवीनीकृत होगी। विगत तीन दिवसीय कुमांऊ भ्रमण कार्यक्रम पूर्ण कर आज ही देहरादून पहुंच कर कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग करने पहुंचे कैबिनेट मंत्री का पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर स्वागत किया।
अपने स्वागत संबोधन में कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य जेपी जगूड़ी ने कहा कि मंत्री जी जिस ऊर्जा और सकारात्मकता से विद्यालय की लीज नवीनीकरण हेतु प्रयासरत हैं, वह हम सभी को नई ताकत प्रदान करता है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस विद्यालय ने अमर शहीद दुर्गामल, एमवीसी बाबा जसवंत सिंह, बॉक्सिंग के एशियन चैम्पियन पदम बहादुर, फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी अमर बहादुर जैसी हस्तियों को दिया है।
कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा कि यह विद्यालय अपनी एतिहासिक उपलब्धियों के लिहाज से हमारे लिए संग्रहणीय संस्थान है। आप निश्चित रहें विद्यालय की लीज नवीनीकरण की जिम्मेदारी मैं लेता हूं। उन्होंने बताया कि इस विषय में मेरे द्वारा रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह से भी दिल्ली में मुलाकात की जा चुकी है और उन्होंने मुझे भरोसा दिलाया है कि जल्द ही यह कर लिया जाएगा। हम तो अपने विद्यालय का मामला ले कर चले थे, परंतु रक्षा संपदा विभाग द्वारा हमारी पहल पर देश भर की ऐसी ही 150 अन्य परिसम्पित्तियों के मामलों के निपटान की भी पहल इसी के साथ की है। उन्होंने बताया क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए वह कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ना चाहते। हमारी सरकार का नारा है कि ’’सबका साथ – सबका विकास – सबका विश्वास’’ इसी के तहत हम क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्धता के साथ काम कर रहे हैं।
मंत्री ने कहा कि विगत कोरोना संक्रमण से लड़ते – लड़ते हमने क्षेत्र वासियों को पक्की स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं प्रदान करने के नजरिए से देहरादून छावनी अस्पताल को आक्सीजन युक्त 150 बेड तथा 10 आई0सी0यू0, ऑक्सीजन प्लॉट जैसी सुविधाओं से युक्त कर दिया है। शीघ्र ही अस्पताल में अल्ट्रासाउण्ड, सी0टी0 स्कैन तथा डायलेसिस की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध करवा दी जाएगी। क्षेत्र में 119 लाख की लागत से सामुदायिक भवन का भी निमार्ण करवाया जा रहा है। माता संतला देवी मंदिर तथा परिसर के सौन्दर्यीकरण हेतु 100 लाख तथा अनारवाला पेयजल योजना को स्वीकृति प्रदान की जा चुकी है। गढ़ी केंट क्षेत्र में रिकार्ड समय में पुल निमार्ण का कार्य पूर्ण करवाया गया। पेयजल की समस्या के समाधान हेतु गढ़ी केंट क्षेत्र में दो नलकूप लगवाए गए हैं। विद्यालय के सौन्दर्यीकरण के लिए भी जल्द ही धनराशि जारी करवाने का प्रयास किया जाऐगा।
इस अवसर पर गोरखा मिलिट्री इंटरमीडिएट कालेज के अध्यक्ष राम सिंह थापा, उपाध्यक्ष सीबी थापा, प्रबंधक एलबी गुरुंग, राज्यमंत्री टीडी भूटिया, गोर्खाली सुधार सभा के अध्यक्ष पदम सिंह थापा, महामंत्री गोपाल क्षेत्री, भाजपा मण्डल अध्यक्ष राजीव गुरुंग, पूर्व जिला पंचायत सदस्य संध्या थापा, पूर्व प्रधान ज्योति कोटिया आदि उपस्थित रहे।
