राज्य सरकार खिलाडियों को प्रोत्साहित करने वाली नई खेल नीति लाएगी – CM धामी
देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गांधी पार्क से ‘नीरज चोपङा ग्लोरी क्रास कंट्री रन’ को फ्लैग ऑफ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने भी इसमें जाॅगिंग करते हुए प्रतिभाग किया। इसका आयोजन राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के अवसर पर खेल विभाग उत्तराखण्ड और उत्तराखण्ड एथलेटिक्स संघ द्वारा किया गया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने हाॅकी खिलाङी मेजर ध्यानचंद का स्मरण करते हुए खेल दिवस की बधाई दी । मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार इस प्रकार की नई खेल नीति लाएगी जिसमेँ खिलाड़ियों को तैयारी के लिए संसाधनों की कमी न रहे। राज्य सरकार की कोशिश है कि खिलाड़ियों को अधिक से अधिक प्रोत्साहित किया जाए। अभावों के कारण खेल प्रतिभा दबी न रहे। आगे बढने के पूरे अवसर मिलें।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पिछले दिनों ओलम्पिक में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों का प्रदर्शन हम सभी को गौरवान्वित करने वाला रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि खेल भावना सर्वोपरि है। जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में स्पोर्ट्समैन शिप होनी चाहिये। जीवन में भी खेल की तरह कभी आगे बढते हैं कभी पीछे हटते हैं। जीवन में बहुत से अभावों का सामना करना पड़ता है। परन्तु अगर हम ठान लें और संकल्प लेकर प्रयास करें तो सफलता जरूर मिलती है। मेहनत करने से मंजिल मिलती है। अगर संकल्प लिया है तो दूसरे विकल्प के बारे में नहीं सोचना चाहिए। मन में उत्साह होना चाहिए। उत्साह है तो ऊर्जा है।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी, विधायक खजानदास, मेयर सुनील उनियाल गामा, खेल विभाग के अधिकारी, खिलाङी और खेल प्रेमी मौजूद रहे।
