आईआईपी के वैज्ञानिकों ने शोध के क्षेत्र में कई महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियां हासिल की हैं – मुख्यमंत्री धामी

देहरादून : गुरुवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आई.आई.पी मोहकमपुर में भारतीय पेट्रोलियम संस्थान के 63वें स्थापना दिवस समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह सुखद संयोग है कि आज बैसाखी, भगवान महावीर जयंती, डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जयंती तथा सीएसआईआर-भारतीय पेट्रोलियम संस्थान (आईआईपी) स्थापना दिवस है। इस अवसर पर उन्होंन सर्वप्रथम भारत रत्न बाबा साहेब भीमराव अबेंडकर के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने आईआईपी द्वारा किये जा रहे विभिन्न कार्यों की प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि देश में जीवाश्म ईंधन से नवीकरणीय ईंधन की ओर बढ़ने की यात्रा में भारतीय पेट्रोलियम संस्थान का अहम योगदान रहा है। आईआईपी के वैज्ञानिकों ने शोध के क्षेत्र में कई महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियां हासिल की हैं। जिसमें प्लास्टिक से डीजल बनाने व जहाजों के लिए बायोफ्यूल बनाने जैसी महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियां शामिल हैं। आईआईपी ने ऊर्जा और ईंधन के क्षेत्र में ही नहीं अपितु वैश्विक महामारी के दौरान भगीरथ प्रयास और सेवा से जन-जन के लिए उपयोगी कार्यों सहित अभिनव अनुसंधान और प्रौद्योगिकी के लाभ का अद्धितीय उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है। संस्थान ने पूरे भारतवर्ष में 108 ऑक्सीजन संयंत्र स्थापित किए हैं। जिसमें से उत्तराखंडवासियों की सेवा में अल्मोड़ा, चमोली, देहरादून, हरिद्वार, नैनीताल, रूद्रप्रयाग, टिहरी गढ़वाल तथा ऊधमसिंह नगर सहित 08 संयंत्र स्थापित किए गए हैं। जिससे इन जनपदों के 100 से अधिक चिकित्सालय लाभान्वित हुए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड के तीव्र विकास के लिए संस्थानों एवं विभागों की भूमिका भी अहम हो जाती है। उन्होंने कहा कि आईआईपी राज्य के 10 सीमान्त विकासखण्डों को एडोप्ट कर उनके विकास में योगदान के बारे में सोचे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 2025 तक उत्तरखण्ड को देश का अग्रणी राज्य बनाने के लिए राज्य सरकार प्रयासरत है। हम आत्मनिर्भर उत्तराखण्ड की ओर आगे बढ़ रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी ने कहा कि यह दशक विकास की दृष्टि से उत्तराखण्ड का दशक होगा। उत्तराखण्ड के समग्र विकास के लिए सभी को आगे आना होगा। जन सहभागिता एवं जन सहयोग से उत्तराखण्ड का समग्र विकास किया जायेगा। उत्तराखण्ड देवभूमि, वीरभूमि के साथ ही संस्कृति एवं आध्यात्म का केन्द्र भी है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आईआईपी देहरादून देश का एक मात्र बायोजेट ईंधन निर्माता है। वर्ष 2018 में देहरादून से दिल्ली तक की भारत की पहली बायोजेट ईंधन प्रचालित उड़ान में इसी बायोजेट ईंधन का प्रयोग किया गया था। 05 केन्दीय मंत्रियों द्वारा इस बायोजेट ईंधन उड़ान के दिल्ली आगमन पर स्वागत किया गया। उत्तराखंड के युवाओं की कौशल वृद्धि एवं आजीविका के बेहतर अवसर हेतु संस्थान द्वारा अनेक कार्य किये जा रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने आशा व्यक्त की कि आईआईपी के वैज्ञानिक वानाग्नि, फलों-सब्जियों के भंडारण एवं परिवहन तथा वाहनों एवं डीजल जेनसेट से होने वाले प्रदूषण की रोकथाम एवं प्रबंधन क्षेत्रों में भी तेजी से कार्य करेंगे।
इस अवसर पर निदेशक, सीएसआईआर-आईआईपी डॉ. अंजन रे, निदेशक आर एंड डी आईओसीएल डॉ. एसएसवी रामकुमार, पूर्णिमा अरोड़ा, दुर्गेश पंत, सोमेश्वर पांडेय एवं संस्थान के वैज्ञानिक, अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
