लोकगायक नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी के 73वें जन्म दिवस पर CM पुष्कर ने उनके जीवन चरित्र पर आधारित पुस्तक ‘‘सृजन से साक्षात्कार’’ का किया विमोचन।
देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरूवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में प्रसिद्ध लोकगायक एवं गीतकार नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी के जीवन दर्शन कृतित्व एवं व्यक्तित्व पर आधारित पुस्तक ‘‘सृजन से साक्षात्कार’’ का विमोचन किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने घोषणा की कि लोकगायक नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी, मोहन उप्रेती, गिरीश तिवारी गिरदा, हीरा सिंह राणा, शमशेर सिंह, जीत सिंह नेगी, चन्द्र सिंह राही सहित प्रदेश के अन्य प्रमुख लोक संस्कृति के रचनाकारों, लोकगायकों के जीवन परिचय एवं रचनाओं का अभिलेखीकरण कर पुस्तक के रूप में प्रकाशित किया जायेगा। यह कार्य सूचना विभाग अथवा संस्कृति विभाग द्वारा किया जायेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस अवसर पर यह भी घोषणा की कि नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी को पद्म पुरस्कार से सम्मानित करने के लिये राज्य सरकार द्वारा भारत सरकार को अपनी संस्तुति प्रेषित की जायेगी। नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी को उनके 73वें जन्म दिन की बधाई देते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि समृद्ध लोक संस्कृति एवं सामाजिक सरोकारों को अपने गीतों एवं संगीत के माध्यम से देश व दुनिया तक पहुंचाने का कार्य नेगी जी ने किया है। वे वास्तव में समाज के सफल नायक के रूप में रहे हैं। उनके गीत राज्य वासियों को अपनी परम्पराओं से जोड़ने में मददगार रहे हैं। नेगी जी ने गढ़वाल कुमाऊं, जौनसार क्षेत्र ही नहीं पूरे उत्तराखण्ड की लोक संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने का कार्य किया है। उत्तराखण्ड की पहचान बनायी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि नेगी जी अपनी विशिष्ट रचना धर्मिता से समाज को और बेहतर दिशा देने का कार्य करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि नेगी जी ने अपनी रचनाओं के माध्यम से सही को सही और गलत को गलत बताने का भी संदेश दिया। ऐसे प्रयासों की समाज को जरूरत भी रहती है।
इस अवसर पर उच्च शिक्षा एवं चिकित्सा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने भी लोक संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने में नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी के प्रयासों की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि दून विश्वविद्यालय में 25 करोड़ लागत से हिमालयन शोध संस्थान की स्थापना के साथ ही शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अनेक पहल की गई है।
नरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी ने मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि समाज के चेहरे पर मुस्कराहट लाने का उनका प्रयास जारी रहेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उनका सदैव प्रयास रहा कि प्रदेश के बाहर नहीं अपने प्रदेश में रहकर अपने लोगों की दुस्वारियों एवं पीड़ा को समाज के सामने ला सकूं। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में भी वे अपने गीतों के माध्यम से समाज की सेवा करते रहेंगे।
डॉ योगेश धस्माना, डॉ. नंद किशोर हटवाल, गणेश खुगसाल गणी, संजय दरमोड़ा ने भी नेगी जी के कृतित्व एवं व्यक्तिव पर प्रकाश डाला तथा उन्हें शुभकामनायें दी। इस अवसर पर दिनेश शास्त्री, विपिन बलूनी, रामचरण जुयाल, ओ.पी बेंजवाल, मनोज इष्टवाल, कीर्ति नवानी के साथ ही बड़ी संख्या में संस्कृति व सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़े लोग उपस्थित रहे।
