विधायक जोशी ने पेयजल एवं सीवर को लेकर की बैठक।
देहरादून : छावनी परिषद देहरादून में पेयजल एवं सीवर की समस्या का समाधान जल्द ही होने वाला है। इस बाबत मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत द्वारा गढ़ी कैंट में नलकूप एवं ओवरहैड टैंक निर्माण की घोषणा की जा चुकी है और जलनिगम द्वारा नलकूप का निर्माण लगभग पूर्ण हो चुका है।
शनिवार को छावनी परिषद कार्यालय में आयोजित बैठक में मसूरी विधायक गणेश जोशी ने बताया कि नलकूप निर्माण के कार्य समाप्ति के तुरन्त बाद जलनिगम द्वारा ओवरहैड टैंक का निर्माण कार्य प्रारम्भ किया जाना है। उन्होनेें बताया कि गढ़ी डाकरा क्षेत्र गर्मियों के समय पेयजल की गम्भीर समस्या से ग्रसित रहता है और पेयजल टैंकरों से लगभग पच्चीस हजार की आबादी को पानी उपब्लध कराना कठिन कार्य है।
मुख्य अधिशासी अधिकारी तनु जैन ने बताया कि सीवर निर्माण के लिए पर्यटन विभाग से वार्ता कर इसका काम किया जाऐगा। उन्होनें विधायक जोशी से सीवर निर्माण के कार्य में रक्षा मंत्रालय एवं पर्यटन विभाग से वार्ता करने का अनुरोध भी किया।
इस अवसर पर छावनी परिषद के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष विष्णु गुप्ता, अधिशासी अभियंता सुमित आनन्द, सभासद मेघा भट्ट, राज भट्ट, संध्या थापा, ज्योति कोटिया, भाजपा मण्डल अध्यक्ष राजीव गुरुंग, मण्डल महामंत्री राहुल रावत आदि उपस्थित रहे।
