वन और वन्य जीव बनेंगे आर्थिकी का जरिया – मुख्यमंत्री धामी
देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी का कहना है कि हमारे प्रदेश में वन बहुतायत में पाए जाते हैं। प्रदेश का 71 प्रतिशत (37999.53 वर्ग किलोमीटर) भूभाग वन क्षेत्र है। इसमें से 24418.67 वर्ग किलोमीटर वन क्षेत्र वन विभाग के अन्तर्गत है। वन कानून की जटिलताओं के कारण वनों के आसपास रहने वाले लोगों को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है, जिसमें उनकी खेती भी प्रभावित होती है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कठिनाई को समझते हुए हमने निर्णय लिया है कि वन और वन्य जीवों को आर्थिकी से जोड़ते हुए स्थानीय लोगों को स्वरोजगार के अवसर मुहैया करवाए जाएंगे। इसी सोच के साथ हमने बीते 1 अक्टूबर 2021 को ‘सीएम यंग ईकोप्रिन्योर योजना’ देहरादून में लॉच की थी। इस योजना का क्रियान्वयन शुरू कर दिया गया है। शुरुआत के तौर पर खटीमा में ‘सुरई इकोटूरिज्म जोन’ विकसित कर उसमें जंगल सफारी प्रारम्भ की जा रही है। ग्राम समितियों के जरिए इस योजना का संचालन किया जाएगा। जंगल सफारी शुरू होने से जिप्सी मालिक, चालक और गाइड के रूप में स्थानीय युवाओं को रोजागर मिलेगा। इसके लिए वन विभाग ने 30 जिप्सी संचालकों के साथ करार किया है। गाइड की भूमिका का सही निर्वहन करने के लिए कई युवकों को वन विभाग इसका प्रशिक्षण दे चुका है। ‘सुरई इकोटूरिज्म जोन’ में पर्यटकों की आमद से स्थानीय लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष व अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से रोजगार मिलेगा। पूरे प्रदेश में इस योजना को विस्तार दिया जाएगा ताकि वनों, वन क्षेत्रों और वन्य जीवों को हम अपनी कमजोरी नहीं ताकत बना सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि सीएम यंगईकोप्रिन्योर स्कीम के अंतर्गत नेचर गाइड, ड्रोन पायलट, वाइल्डलाइफ फोटोग्राफर, ईकोटूरिज़्म, वन्यजीव टूरिज़्म आधारित कौशल को उद्यम में परिवर्तित किया जाएगा।
