पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिये सामूहिक प्रयासों की जरूरत – मुख्यमंत्री
देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण को सामूहिक प्रयासों की जरूरत बताई हैं। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर जारी अपने संदेश में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमें सामूहिक रूप से प्रकृति के संरक्षण की दिशा में भी चिन्तन करना होगा। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को जीवन से जुड़ा विषय बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण में उत्तराखण्डवासियों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही है। प्रदेश सरकार समृद्ध जैव संसाधनों के संरक्षण के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध हैं। उत्तराखण्ड अपनी वन सम्पदा और नदियों के कारण पर्यावरण संरक्षण की मुहिम का ध्वज वाहक है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकारी प्रयासों के साथ ही जनता, जन प्रतिनिधियों एवं स्वयंसेवी संस्थाओं का पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जन चेतना जागृत करने और इसके संवर्द्धन में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है। उन्होंने कहा कि अधिक से अधिक वृक्ष लगाने के साथ ही नदी और जल स्रोतों की साफ सफाई के लिए भी पूरा प्रयास जरूरी है।
