देहरादून : वाहनों की संख्या में लगातार हो रही वृद्धि को देखते हुए प्रदेश में नए पार्किंग स्थल विकसित करने के प्रयास किए जाएं। उक्त निर्देश मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस. एस. संधु ने गुरुवार को सचिवालय में उत्तराखण्ड में नए पार्किंग स्थल विकसित करने के सम्बन्ध में सभी जिलाधिकारियों के साथ वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के दौरान दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि वाहनों की संख्या निरंतर बढ़ रही है जिसे देखते हुए नए पार्किंग स्थल विकसित किये जायें जिससे आने वाले वर्षों में पार्किंग की समस्या न हो।
उन्होंने निर्देश दिये कि जिलाधिकारी इस कार्य को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर लेते हुए अपने-अपने जनपदों में साइट आईडेंटिफाइड करते हुए प्रस्ताव शासन को प्रेषित कर दें। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रत्येक कार्य के लिए टाइमलाइन निर्धारित करते हुए चयनित पार्किंग स्थलों का प्रस्ताव शासन को प्रेषित कर दें।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि सर्फेस पार्किंग की बजाए टनल पार्किंग और कैविटी पार्किंग पर ज्यादा फोकस किया जाए। इस तरह की पार्किंग के लिए भूमि की कम आवश्यकता रहती है। उन्होने कहा कि रेल विकास निगम लिमिटेड( आरवीएनएल) काफी अच्छी तरह से टनल पार्किंग निर्माण के क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहा है। आरवीएनएल को इंपैनल करने का प्रस्ताव जल्द से जल्द प्राप्त करते हुए नए पार्किंग स्थल विकसित करने में उनका सहयोग लिया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड जैसे पर्वतीय राज्यों में पार्किंग एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या है। जिन जगहों पर पार्किंग की समस्या ज्यादा बड़ी है उन पर पहले फोकस किया जाय।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कुछ जनपदों में शासन से पार्किंग स्वीकृत होने के बावजूद भी उसमें कार्य प्रारंभ नहीं हुए है। उन्होंने समस्त जिलाधिकारियों को इस पर ध्यान देते हुए कार्य प्रारंभ करने के निर्देश दिए साथ ही निर्माण कार्यों में गुणवत्ता के भी विशेष ध्यान रखने के निर्देश दिए। इस बैठक में सचिव शैलेश बगोली व सभी जनपदों से जिलाधिकारियों के अलावा वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने प्रतिभाग किया।
