हम सभी हिमालय दिवस के अवसर पर प्रण लें कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति पूर्ण जिम्मेदारी से कार्य करें – मंत्री जोशी

देहरादून : गुरुवार को हर वर्ष उत्तराखंड में हिमालय दिवस 09 सितंबर को राज्य में मनाया जाता है। हिमालयी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और क्षेत्र के संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से यह मनाया जाता है। इसी कड़ी में आज न्यू कैंट रोड़ स्थित कैंप कार्यालय में प्रदेश के कृषि, कृषक कल्याण, सैनिक कल्याण एवं ग्राम्य विकास मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने गुरुवार को हिंदुस्तान समाचार पत्र की मुहिम “हिमालय बचाओ अभियान” के तहत शपथ समारोह कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने अपने कैंप कार्यालय परिसर में वृक्षापोरण भी किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंत्री ने हिमालय बचाओ अभियान के तहत उपस्थित सभी लोगों को शपथ भी दिलाई।
हिमालय दिवस के मौके पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने जाने-माने साहित्यकार सोहनलाल द्विवेदी की कुछ पंक्तियां याद करते हुए कहा कि युग-युग से है अपने पथ पर,देखो कैसा खड़ा हिमालय, डिगता कभी न अपने प्राण से रहता प्रण पर अड़ा हिमालय।
मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि हिमालय के पहाड़ी नगरों को खराब भवन योजना और डिजाइन, कमजोर बुनियादी ढांचे (सड़कें, सीवेज, जल आपूर्ति आदि) और पेड़ों की अभूतपूर्व कटाई के कारण कई चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। यह गंभीर पारिस्थितिक मुद्दों की वजह बनता है।’ हिमालय औषधीय पौधों का भंडार है जो गंगा के पानी को विशेष बनाता है और न केवल गंगा बल्कि कई छोटी नदियों जीवन देता है।’हिमालय न केवल भारत के लिए बल्कि पूरे विश्व के लिए शक्ति का एक स्रोत और एक मूल्यवान विरासत है और हमें उसे संरक्षित करने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सभी हिमालय दिवस के अवसर पर प्रण लें कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति पूर्ण जिम्मेदारी से कार्य करें।
कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि हिमालय जहां सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से भारत की सुरक्षा करता है, वहीं पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दृष्टि से भी हिमालय का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। लेकिन धीरे -धीरे अनावश्यक रूप से हिमालय में कूड़ा फैलाने एवं दोहन होने के कारण हिमालय अपनी वास्तविक स्थित को छोड़ते जा रहा है। जिसके लिए हिमालय को बचाने की आवश्यकता है। मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में हम सभी को अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करनी होगी,पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए हर व्यक्ति को योगदान देना होगा मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि ‘हिमालय बचाओ अभियान’ में अधिक से अधिक लोगों को वृक्षारोपण करना चाहिए जिससे हमारा हिमालय सुरक्षित रह सके।
इस अवसर पर पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री एवं विधायक बंसीधर भगत, सल्ट विधायक महेश जीना, मंडल अध्यक्ष पूनम नौटियाल, पार्षद नंदनी शर्मा,पार्षद भूपेंद्र कठेत,चुन्नी लाल, मंजीत रावत,ज्योति कोटिया, आर.एस परिहार,कमल थापा, सहित कई लोग उपस्थित रहे।
