धनोल्टी से भाजपा के प्रीतम सिंह पंवार ने चार हजार से अधिक मतों से जीत दर्ज की।
टिहरी : धनोल्टी से भाजपा प्रत्याशी प्रीतम सिंह पंवार ने कांग्रेस के जोत सिंह बिष्ट को 4622 मतो से पराजित कर यह सीट भाजपा की झोली में डाल दी। वहीं भाजपा के बागी प्रत्याशी महावीर रांगण को 12 से अधिक मतों पर संतोष करना पड़ा।
धनोल्टी विधानसभा सीट इस बार हॉट सीट बनी थी क्यों कि भाजपा ने गत विधायक प्रीतम सिंह पवांर को टिकट दिया था जिससे नाराज होकर भाजपा के महावीर रांगड ने निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी के रूप में नामांकन किया था। लेकिन आखिर में मोदी है तो मुमकिन है का फार्मूला काम कर गया व भाजपा के प्रीतम सिंह पंवार ने कांग्रेस के जोत सिंह बिष्ट को करीब चार हजार से अधिक मतों से हरा कर सीट जीत ली। भाजपा के प्रीतम सिंह पंवार को 22465 मत मिले जबकि कांग्रेस के जोत सिंह बिष्ट को 17843 व भाजपा के बागी महावीर सिहं रांगड़ को 12562 मतों पर संतोष करना पड़ा। भाजपा की जीत से कार्यकर्ताओं में खुशी की लहर छा गयी व उन्होंने ब्लाक मुख्यालय थत्यूड में जुलूस निकाल कर जश्न मनाया। वहीं आम आदमी पार्टी के अमेंद्र बिष्ट को मात्र 1700 मतों पर संतोष करना पड़ा। इस सीट पर यूकेडी की उषा पंवार को 156 व निर्दलीय गौरव तिवाडी को 388, जय नारायण को 210 मत मिले जबकि 640 मत नोटा पर पड़े।
