महाविद्यालय में हिमालय दिवस के अवसर पर ली गई सामूहिक प्रतिज्ञा।

उत्तरकाशी : राम चन्द्र उनियाल राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय उत्तरकाशी के प्रांगण में हिमालय दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में सभी प्रोफेसर एवं स्टाफ सहकर्मियों ने मुख्य परिसर में एक साथ हिमालय के सरंक्षण एवं संवर्धन हेतु शपथ ली। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्य प्रो० सविता गैरोला ने सभी को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि हिमालय को बचाने के लिए सभी को धरातल पर कार्य करने होंगे । समय समय पर वृक्षारोपण तथा प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण कम करने हेतु प्रयास करते रहने होंगे।
प्रतिवर्ष 9 सितंबर को हिमालय दिवस मनाया जाता है । इस वर्ष भी महाविद्यालय में वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग द्वारा ऑनलाइन वेबिनार तथा ऑनलाइन भाषण प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया । प्रतिभाग करने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं ने ऑनलाइन ही हिमालय सरंक्षण की शपथ ली । भाषण प्रतियोगिता में महादेव सिंह प्रथम स्थान पर रहे, द्वितीय स्थान पर अवन्तिका तथा तृतीय स्थान पर साधना रही । मनीषा एवं आशिका प्रोत्साहन पुरुष्कार विजेता रहे। इस अवसर पर कार्यक्रम के संयोजक डॉ एम पी एस परमार , सह संयोजक डॉ जयलक्ष्मी रावत , डॉ आराधना, डॉ प्रेरणा, कार्यक्रम की आयोजन सचिव डॉ ऋचा बधानी , डॉ संजीव लाल , डॉ विपिन चन्द्र ने हिमालय दिवस पर प्रतिभाग करने वाले छात्रों को बधाई दी तथा उनका उत्साह वर्धन किया । इस अवसर पर डॉ वसंतिका कश्यप, डॉ डी डी पैन्यूली, डॉ डी पी पांडे, डॉ नंदी गड़िया, डॉ दिवाकर बौद्ध, डॉ आकाश मिश्रा, डॉ कमल कुमार बिष्ट, डॉ एम पी तिवारी, डॉ विश्वनाथ राणा, डॉ मनोज, डॉ रमेश, डॉ प्रवेंद्र सिंह जयारा, डॉ परदेव सिंह रावत, श्रद्धानंद सेमवाल तथा अन्य प्राध्यापक उपस्थित रहे।
