देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को नेहरू कॉलोनी, देहरादून में शहीद मेजर चित्रेश बिष्ट के आवास पर उनके चित्र पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने सैन्यधाम के लिए शहीद चित्रेश बिष्ट के आंगन की पवित्र मिट्टी ली। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद मेजर चित्रेश बिष्ट के पिता एस.एस.बिष्ट एवं माता रेखा बिष्ट को शक्ति प्रदान करने की कामना की।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि देश के लिए शहीद हुए मेजर चित्रेश बिष्ट एवं उत्तराखण्ड के सभी शहीदों पर गर्व है, जिन्होंने देश की रक्षा, एकता एवं अखण्डता के लिए अपने प्राणों का बलिदान दिया। सभी शहीद सैनिकों के आंगन की पवित्र मिट्टी सैन्यधाम में लाई जा रही है। देश की लिए अपनी शहादत देने वाले वीर जवान हमेशा हमारे एवं आने वाली पीढ़ियों के स्मरण में रहेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की उत्तराखण्ड में पांचवे धाम के रूप में सैन्यधाम की जो कल्पना है, सबके सहयोग से यह सैन्यधाम भव्य बनाया जायेगा। सभी शहीदों का वहां पर स्मरण होगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शहीद चित्रेश बिष्ट के माता-पिता ने कठिन दौर देखा है, राज्य सरकार हमेशा उनके साथ है।
