मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने माँ पूर्णागिरि कॉलेज आफ एजुकेशन के बहुउद्देश्यीय शैक्षिक परिसर का किया शिलान्यास।
चंपावत : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने जिला मुख्यालय चंपावत के मुड़ियानी स्थित माँ पूर्णागिरि कॉलेज आफ एजुकेशन के बहुउद्देश्यीय शैक्षिक परिसर के शिलान्यास एवं हिन्दुस्तान स्काउट एंड गाइड शिविर के समापन कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने बहुउद्देश्यीय शैक्षिक परिसर के शिलान्यास के उपरांत आयोजित कार्यक्रम में अपने संबोधन में कहा कि इस शैक्षणिक संस्थान से निश्चित रूप से चंपावत शिक्षा का हब बनेगा। जिससे यहाँ के बच्चों व युवाओं को आगे बढ़ने का अवसर प्राप्त होगा। यहां के बच्चे चंपावत जिले के साथ राज्य एवं देश का नाम रौशन करेंगे। उन्होंने संस्थान के संचालन को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि यह संस्थान अपने उद्देश्यों में सफल हो।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शिक्षा के उन्नयन तथा नौनिहालों के भविष्य के लिए किए जा रहे कार्य हमेशा ही समाज में बहुत आगे तक बढ़ते हैं। इससे समाज एक बेहतर दिशा में आगे बढ़ता है। उन्होंने कहा कि माँ सरस्वती की कृपा जिनमें होती है वही इस कार्य को आगे बढ़ाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में उत्तराखंड राज्य देश का श्रेष्ठ राज्य बनेगा। चम्पावत जिले में सभी क्षेत्रों में विशेष रूप से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, पर्यटन, कृषि औद्यानिक आदि क्षेत्रों में पायलट के रूप में कार्य किया जा रहा है जिले को सभी क्षेत्रों में मॉडल जिला बनाया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि चम्पावत जिले के विकास के लिए अनेक विकासपरक योजनाएँ संचालित की जा रही है। उसके अनुरूप कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले में शिक्षा के उन्नयन हेतु चम्पावत जिला पुस्तकालय बनाने के साथ ही जिले के 100 स्कूलों का रूपांतरण किया जा रहा है। अन्य लगभग 400 स्कूलों का रूपांतरण सीएसआर मद से किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि चम्पावत के प्रथम जिला पुस्तकालय का निर्माण हेतु प्रथम किश्त की 10 लाख रूपये की धनराशि उनके अपनी विधायक निधि से दी जाएगी। इसके अतिरिक्त जिले के प्रत्येक विकास खण्ड में भी पुस्तकालय का निर्माण किया जाएगा। जिसका लाभ यहां के लोगों को मिलेगा। इससे पूर्व परिसर में पंहुचने पर संस्थान के छात्र छात्राओं व स्काउट गाइड द्वारा उनका स्वागत करते हुए विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए गए।इस मौके पर अध्यक्ष वन विकास निगम कैलाश चन्द्र गहतोड़ी, अध्यक्ष जिला पंचायत ज्योति राय,भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष दीपक पाठक पूर्व दर्जा राज्य मंत्री हयाद सिंह महरा,विद्यालय के चैयरमैन कृष्ण सिंह अधिकारी समेत विभिन्न जनप्रतिनिधि, गणमान्य नागरिक, छात्र छात्रा एवं अन्य उपस्थित रहे।
