कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने वन्य जीव सुरक्षा सप्ताह रैली को हरी झंडी दिखाकर किया रवाना।
मसूरी : वन्य जीव सुरक्षा सप्ताह के अंतर्गत मसूरी वन प्रभाग के तत्वाधान में शहीद स्थल झूला घर से जन जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें वन विभाग के साथ ही स्कूली छात्र छात्राओं एवं मसूरी ट्रेडर्स एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारी भी शामिल हुए।
जन जागरूकता रैली को कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी व मसूरी वन प्रभाग की डीएफओ कहकशां नसीम ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि इंसान और जानवरों के बीच टकराव की स्थिति पैदा हो गई है और इंसानों द्वारा अंधाधुंध जंगलों का कटान किया जा रहा है ऐसे में वन्यजीवों की सुरक्षा करना हम सबकी जिम्मेदारी बनती है। इस अवसर पर प्रभागीय वन अधिकारी कहकशा नसीम ने बताया कि अक्टूबर के पहले सप्ताह में वन्य जीव सुरक्षा सप्ताह के रूप में मनाया जाता है उन्होंने कहा कि स्कूली छात्र छात्राओं द्वारा जन जागरूकता रैली में भाग लिया गया है और उनके माध्यम से लोगों को यह संदेश देने की कोशिश की जा रही है कि वन्यजीवों की रक्षा करना सभी का दायित्व है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे सप्ताह विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे और बच्चों को भी जंगली जानवरों के बचाव की जानकारी दी जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम में नगर पालिका, पहल संस्था मसूरी ट्रेडर्स एसोसिएशन एवं रोबुस्ट संस्था ने भी सहयोग किया। रैली शहीद स्थल से मालरोड होते हुए गांधी चौक तक गई। रैली में स्कूली बच्चे हाथों में वनों व जंगली जानवरों की सुरक्षा से संबंधित नारे लिखी तख्तियां एवं जंगल व जंगली जानवरों की झांकियां भी शामिल थी।
इस मौके पर पालिकाध्यक्ष अनुज गुप्ता, ईओ आशुतोष सती, भाजपा मसूरी मंडल अध्यक्ष मोहन पेटवाल, अरविंद सेमवाल, पुष्पा पडियार, रजत अग्रवाल, रोबुस्ट संस्था के शुभ बिश्नोई सहित बड़ी संख्या में लोग मौजूद थे।
