मेरठ-दिल्ली-देहरादून हाईवे पर हादसा, कांग्रेस नेता हरीश रावत की कार दुर्घटनाग्रस्त

मेरठ-दिल्ली-देहरादून हाईवे पर शनिवार को एक सड़क हादसे में कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत की कार दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई। हादसे के समय वे एक निजी कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए उत्तराखंड से दिल्ली की ओर जा रहे थे।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, यह घटना मोदीपुरम क्षेत्र के पास हुई, जब उनकी एसयूवी को एक अन्य वाहन ने अचानक टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि रावत की कार का अगला हिस्सा बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया।
हरीश रावत सुरक्षित, किसी को गंभीर चोट नहीं
दुर्घटना के समय कार में मौजूद हरीश रावत और उनके सहयोगी सुरक्षित हैं। उन्हें किसी प्रकार की गंभीर चोट नहीं आई है। प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उन्हें दूसरी गाड़ी से आगे रवाना किया गया।
हरीश रावत ने हादसे के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर एक छोटा सा बयान जारी कर कहा, “ईश्वर की कृपा और आप सभी की दुआओं से मैं पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हूं। कार को थोड़ी क्षति हुई है, लेकिन चिंता की कोई बात नहीं है।”
पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची, ट्रैफिक कुछ देर बाधित
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई और क्षतिग्रस्त वाहनों को हटवाकर हाईवे पर ट्रैफिक सामान्य कराया। हादसे के कारण कुछ देर के लिए जाम की स्थिति बन गई थी।
पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है कि दुर्घटना किसकी लापरवाही से हुई। अभी तक किसी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज नहीं किया गया है।
