खटटापानी क्षेत्र में देवदार के पेड़ों पर चली आरिया, विभाग में किया पेड़ों को बरामद।
मसूरी : मसूरी वन विभाग के अंतर्गत लंढौर क्षेत्र के खट्टा पानी जोडी गांव के निकट अवैध रूप से देवदार के पेड़ों को काटा जा रहा है। जिसकी सूचना वन विभाग मसूरी को दी गई जिस पर विभाग ने मौके पर जाकर काटे गये देवदार के पेड़ों को बरामद कर लिया। हालांकि मौके पर पहुंची विभागीय टीम को कोई भी आरोपी नही मिला, लेकिन वन विभाग ने पूरे क्षेत्र में अपनी गस्त तेज कर दी है।
इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए डीएफओ मसूरी वन प्रभाग कहकशां नसीम ने बताया कि लंढौर क्षेत्र में देवदार के पेड़ों को काटे जाने की सूचना स्थानीय लोगों के द्वारा मिलने के बाद मौके पर पहुंची वन विभाग की टीम ने काटे गए पेड़ों को बरामद कर लिया है। बताया कि मौके पर विभाग की टीम ने छावनी क्षेत्र के साथ ही आसपास के क्षेत्रों में कटे देवदार के पेड़ों की खोज की तो देवदार के बेश कीमती पेड़ बरामद किए गये।जिन्हें जब्त कर वन विभाग मसूरी कार्यालय लाया गया है। डीएफओ ने कहकशां नसीम ने बताया कि उक्त सूचना स्थानीय निवासियों के द्वारा मिली थी कि यहां से देवदारों के पेड़ों को अवैध रूप से काटकर उसकी सप्लाई कहीं की जा रही है जिसके बाद विभाग की टीम मौके पर पहुंची। उन्होंने बताया इसकी सूचना छावनी परिषद के मुख्य अधिशासी अधिकारी को भी दे दी गई है क्यों कि उक्त क्षेत्र का कुछ हिस्सा कैंट बोर्ड में भी आता है। पेड़ काटने वालों की तलाश जारी है। वहीं उन्होंने बताया कि देवदार के पेड़ किसी अज्ञात द्वारा काटे गए हैं जिनकी कीमत लगभग तीन लाख रूपये आंकी गई है। अवैध पातन को देखते हुए उक्त क्षेत्र में गश्त बढ़ा दी गई है। व आसपास के लोगों से भी इस बारे में जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है।
