चमोली: पंचकेदारों में शामिल पवित्र रुद्रनाथ मंदिर के कपाट सोमवार सुबह शीतकाल के लिए विधि-विधान के साथ बंद कर दिए जाएंगे। कपाट बंद होने से एक दिन पहले रविवार को लगभग 500 श्रद्धालु भगवान रुद्रनाथ के अंतिम दर्शन करने पहुंचे।
मंदिर समिति और प्रशासन की देखरेख में कपाट बंदी की सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। पुजारियों द्वारा विशेष पूजा-अर्चना और धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों के साथ भगवान की चल विग्रह डोली को गोपेश्वर के लिए रवाना किया जाएगा, जहां शीतकालीन पूजन संपन्न होगा।
रुद्रनाथ मंदिर समुद्रतल से लगभग 3,600 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है और यहां हर साल भारी संख्या में श्रद्धालु कठिन पैदल यात्रा तय कर दर्शन के लिए पहुंचते हैं। शीतकाल में भारी बर्फबारी और दुर्गम परिस्थितियों के कारण मंदिर को कुछ महीनों के लिए बंद कर दिया जाता है।
प्रशासन ने श्रद्धालुओं से सुरक्षित यात्रा और मौसम को ध्यान में रखते हुए सावधानी बरतने की अपील की है।
