राजस्व से अधिक मुझे प्रदेश की जनता की चिंता है – मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ

देहरादून : कोविड संक्रमण के बढ़ते प्रभाव को देखते हुए प्रदेश सरकार ने एक बड़ा निर्णय लिया है। उसके तहत अब शराब की दुकानें भी बाजार की अन्य दुकानों की तरह ही 2ः00 बजे दोपहर में बंद हो जायेंगी। आज मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने कहा कि उन्हें राजस्व से कहीं अधिक राज्य के वासियों के स्वास्थ्य की चिंता है। संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए जो भी जरूरी कदम होंगे वह उठाए जायेंगे।
जब से प्रदेश में कोरोना का संक्रमण में तेजी आई है सरकार ने भी रोकथाम के प्रयास तेज कर दिए हैं। इसमें खासतौर कोविड की चेन तोड़ने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। महामारी के खिलाफ चल रही लड़ाई के क्रम में बाजार के प्रतिष्ठनों को दोपहर 2 बजे ही बंद करने के निर्देश दिए।
आज मुख्यमंत्री ने यह निर्णय लिया कि प्रदेश में संचालित शराब की दुकानें भी बाजार के अन्य प्रतिष्ठानों के साथ ही दोपहर दो बजे में बंद हो जायेंगी।
मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ ने कहा कि शराब की दुकानें जल्दी बंद किए जाने से राजस्व का नुकसान होना तो स्वाभाविक है। लेकिन मुझे अपने प्रदेश की जनता की चिंता है। हर हाल में प्रदेश को संक्रमण के प्रभाव से बचाना है। इसके लिए जो भी कदम उठाने जरूरी होंगे वह उठाए जायेंगे।
