राजीव गांधी की पुण्यतिथि लगाया रक्त दान शिविर।

उत्तरकाशी : आज 21 मई 2021 को पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारतरत्न स्व0 राजीव गांधी जी की पुण्यतिथि को सद्भावना दिवस के रूप में मनाने तथा रक्तदान शिविर आयोजित करने के क्रम में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री की पुण्यतिथि के अवसर पर जिला चिकित्सालय उत्तरकाशी में प्रदेश कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष पूर्व विधायक विजयपाल सजवाण के नेतृत्व में रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। रक्तदान शिविर में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने बढ़चढ़ कर अपनी हिस्सेदारी दी।
इस मौके पर प्रदेश कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष विजयपाल सजवाण ने स्व0 राजीव जी को याद करते हुए उनके द्वारा किए गए ऐतिहासिक कार्यों का जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी दूरगामी सोच से ही हिंदुस्तान आधुनिक भारत बना है। 18 वर्ष के युवाओं को मतदान का अधिकार, संचार क्रांति, कंप्यूटर युग की शुरुआत, पंचायतों को सशक्त करने और गरीब तबके का विकास सहित उनके द्वारा अनेक ऐसे कार्य किये गये जो भुलाए नही जा सकते।
इस मौके पर मौजूद पालिकाध्यक्ष रमेश सेमवाल ने कहा कि राजीव जी की सोच देश को तरक्की की राह पर आगे ले जाने की थी, किंतु दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण उनकी मृत्यु समय से पहले हो जाना देश के लिए बहुत बड़ी क्षति थी। उन्होंने इस संकटकाल में सभी से रक्तदान करने का आह्वन किया।
इस अवसर पर पूर्व विधायक सजवाण ने कहा कि कोरोना के इस विपरीत समय में ब्लड बैंक में रक्त की कमी ना हो इस उद्देश्य के साथ आज रक्तदान शिविर लगाया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्तदान से बढ़ा कोई दान नहीं होता इसलिए सभी को रक्तदान करना चाहिए।
इस अवसर पर शहर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष दिनेश गौड़, ब्लॉक कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कमल सिंह रावत, ज्येष्ठ उप प्रमुख भटवाड़ी मनोज रावत, जिला पंचायत सदस्य मनोज मिनान, मनीष राणा, पालिका सभाषद देवराज बिष्ट, बुद्धि सिंह राणा, महावीर चौहान, महेश भट्ट, पार्टी प्रवक्ता भूपेश कुड़ियाल, यशपाल सजवाण, राजेश उप्पल, सेवादल के महाजन चौहान, पूर्व सैनिक उमेद अधिकारी, युवा कांग्रेस के गोपाल भंडारी, नवीन गुसाईं, रविन्द्र पंवार, संतोष कुमार, सोहनपाल रमोला, प्रवीण पंवार, किशन गुसाईं, मुकुल उनियाल, प्रदीप राणा, पवन गुसाईं, प्रमोद पंवार आदि मौजूद रहे।
