मसूरी – पुलिस ने रोड किनारे खड़ी टैक्सी स्कूटियों पर की कार्रवाई।
मसूरी : सीओ की अध्यक्षता में विगत दिवस हुई बैठक के बाद पुलिस एक्शन में आ गई व पुलिस ने लाइब्रेरी व लंढौर मार्ग पर अवैध रूप से रोड के किनारे खड़ी की गई टैक्सी स्कूटियों को उठा कर जब्त कर लिया व कोतवाली ले गये।
पर्यटन नगरी में अवैध रूप से पार्क की जा रही टैक्सी स्कूटियों के कारण रोड संकरी हो गई है व हर समय दुर्घटना का खतरा बढ़ गया है। गत दिवस सीओ की बैठक में इस बात को प्रमुखता से उठाया गया था। इसके बाद सीओ ने पुलिस को निर्देश दिए कि रोड के किनारे जहां भी टैक्सी स्कूटी खड़ी की जा रही है उन्हें जब्त किया जाय व उनके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाय। जिसको लेकर पुलिस विभाग हरकत में आ गया व उन्होंने गांधी चौक व पिक्चर पैलेस लंढौर मार्ग पर खडी टैक्सी स्कूटियों को उठा दिया। लेकिन ऐसे में पुलिस ने उन स्कूटियों को भी उठाया जो देहरादून से पर्यटक मसूरी घूमने लेकर आये थे। जबकि स्थानीय लोगों के द्वारा ही कई स्थानों पर टैक्सी स्कूटियों की दुकानें खोल दी गई हैं जो कि अवैध रूप से संचालित की जा रही है। न स्कूटी वालों के पास पार्किंग की कोई व्यवस्था है और न ही उनके पास निर्धारित मानक है। ऐसे में शहर में लोगों को खासी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
इस संबंध में एसएसआई गुमान सिंह नेगी ने बताया कि आगामी सीजन को लेकर सीओ ने बैठक की थी जिसमें अवैध रूप से सड़कों के किनारे खडी स्कूटियों पर कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए गय है जिसके तहत पुलिस विभाग ने स्कूटियों को जब्त करने की कार्रवाई की व कहा कि आगे भी इस तरह की कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी ताकि रोड के किनारे स्कूटी खंड़ी न हो सकें व पर्यटकों व स्थानीय नागरिकों को कोई परेशानी न हो।
